50 Cent Ends Deal with Sleek Audio Headphones & Reveals Why He And Jay-Z Aren’t Friends
As of late, Hip-Hop-henchman 50 Cent has become more infamous for his business ventures than his lackluster music. After Sleek ended the contractual agreement with 50’s licensing company G-Unit Brands, rumors were abuzz that Sleek Audio cancelled the state-of-the-art “Sleek by 50” headphone line. Sleek Audio has a different recount. According to them, the New York rapper cancelled the pricey line of headphones and plans to proceed with another partner.
It seems that Sleek cut ties with G-Unit Brands, and 50 retaliated by taking his name off the brand. As a result of this failed business venture, the audio company has decided to focus on in-ear offerings instead.
Does 50 Cent Want War With Jay–Z?
50 Cent has remained relevant by sparking controversy and starting rap-beefs for no apparent reason. In a recent interview, he disclosed that he and Jay-Z aren’t on friendly terms. 50 insists on a strictly professional relationship and admitted he used other artists to get hit songs.
“We don’t have those kinds of relationships. These people are people I associate with. We are in the same business. We are not necessarily friends. We don’t call each other for no reason,” he explained.
“It’s not like we have something against each other to make us enemies,” Fiddy continued. “Me and Jay[-Z] will use each other. Repeatedly. For energy.”
As a rapper and business, Jay-Z is light-years ahead of Fif. He doesn’t namedrop or diss anyone to keep his dynasty alive. 50, Jay-Z’s protégé made you seem incapable, why would you want war with the mentor? 50, pick up Decoded and learn something.
